StageCraft’s calculators are planning and checking tools. They apply standard stagecraft formulas and rules of thumb to the values you enter and round results for readability, so a result depends entirely on your input and on the assumptions of a simple model. Nothing on the Service is professional lighting design, structural, or building-code certification. Before you rely on a result for anything involving structural risers, platform construction, or audience safety, confirm it with a qualified builder or your venue’s code requirements.
